WHERE THE ROOTS BEGAN TO GROW

The Root Project launched its international journey in Monrovia, Liberia. In partnership with Cachelle International and its long-standing relationship with Black Cat Forever, spanning over 20 years, the two organizations embarked on the inaugural journey of the Root Project. Cachelle International and its Executive Director, Shoana Cachelle, served as a liaison and ambassador in Monrovia, facilitating the project's development.

Aspiring models , local designers and Community members joined the Black Cat FOREVER International Collective, laying the groundwork for a movement aimed at connecting African communities with a global fashion and arts network. fashion, photography, and creative expression, Monrovia became the first chapter in the Root Project's story.
